Whichever way you feel about your kids heading back to school - you are not alone.  I stayed home with my girls for 8 years and absolutely could not wait for the day after Labor Day (here in Virginia) for school to start.  It felt like I was getting my sanity and my life back.  A routine went a long way to helping our family.  However, I had a lot of friends who worked outside of the home who hated to see summer vacation come to an end.  They enjoyed the leisurely evenings and weekends that they shared with their children.  And, the fact that there was no homework didn't hurt either.  This year, I went back to work and I must admit, seeing the kids to go school yesterday was both happy and sad for me - for the first time.  Not being together 24/7 has been very good for us.  I think that's probably true of most relationships.  If you're together too much - well, you're together too much!  What do you think?  Happy or sad?  Can you be together too much?  Is a little space a good thing for everyone??  Let me know - write a comment, start a discussion.  Thanks for letting me vent.
